Frances trained as a Nutritional Therapist with the CNM (College of Naturopathic Medicine). The course is orientated not just around the scientific study of nutrition but around the more subtle and ancient principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurvedic Medicine. At the base of it is the Naturopathic theory that, given the right tools, the body has an inherent ability to heal itself. Frances feels passionate about the strength of good nutrition and has personal experience of the difficulties involved in making changes to ones eating and lifestyle habits. As a result, she works differently with each individual, suggesting a unique plan for them on how they can reach their goals. There are many conditions that respond well to nutritional therapy, among them are anxiety, depression, hyperactivity in children, IBS, PMS, migraines, fatigue and weight management. |
