Massage for Body & Mind

Massage for Body & Mind

Massage is a very personal experience and each person has their own expectations and desires. There are so many different types of massage, each with its own purpose. It is therefore imperative that you chose the correct treatment and communicate your needs and expectations to the therapist to ensure you leave satisfied. Massage does not need to be painful to be beneficial- a common belief. In essence it is equally important and effective when working slowly and firmly, encouraging relaxation and bringing fresh blood (oxygen and nutrients) to the affected area and allowing it to take away any toxins that have built up.

These organic massages will provide relaxation and ease the mind whist ensuring your treatment is free from skin irritants such as petrochemicals, sodium laurel sulphates, parabens and propylene glycol. Instead plant extracts provide therapeutic benefits, harnessing the power of nature.

Deep Tissue

Deep Tissue

The movement is slower and deeper and concentrated on areas of tension and pain using fingertips, knuckles, hands, elbows and forearms. There may be discomfort felt during the massage therefore communication with regards to any pain you feel is essential. Soreness may last a couple of days before resulting in the desired relaxation and pain relief.

Best results are seen over a course of treatments, accompanied by an integrated program incorporating posture and movement awareness, exercise and relaxation techniques.
